Meet Carlo, Founder of Core Pilates Studios

Core Pilates Studios was founded with a simple vision: to create beautiful, welcoming Pilates studios where people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels can experience the transformative benefits of movement.

What began as a passion for helping people move better has grown into a thriving community of studios across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and London. Today, Core Pilates Studios is recognised for exceptional teaching, a supportive atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering world-class STOTT PILATES® instruction.

Carlo believes Pilates should be accessible, effective and enjoyable. Whether your goal is to improve posture, build strength, recover from injury, increase mobility, or simply feel better in your body, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

What Is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact movement method that uses controlled exercise, breath and body awareness to improve strength, posture, mobility and coordination. On the Reformer, spring resistance supports and challenges the body, helping you work deeply without relying on speed or impact.

Your first session is about learning the studio, understanding the Reformer and getting clear, supportive instruction. New clients are encouraged to begin with the Essential level so you can build the foundations first.

Do I need Pilates experience?

No. The intro offers are designed for new clients. For group classes, begin with Essential level so you can learn the foundations and feel confident on the Reformer.

Which intro offer should I choose?

Choose the 2-class intro offer if you are ready to join small group classes. Choose first personal training if you would like individual attention, have specific goals or want a more tailored introduction.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable exercise clothing, bring a water bottle and wear Pilates grip socks. Please let the team know about injuries, surgeries or medical conditions before class.

Will Pilates feel challenging?

Yes, but in a controlled and intelligent way. Pilates may look calm, but the precision, resistance and deep muscle connection can make each session very effective.
